The farmhouse has recently undergone a very meticulous renovation, while maintaining the ancient characteristics of this wonderful property. A large stone porch adjacent to the entrance, houses a table and chairs for outdoor summer dinners, a stone BBQ and an ancient oven, ideal for those who love to cook with traditional techniques. Upon entering, on the ground floor of La Colonica, one immediately has the feeling of being in a welcoming modern house, with every comfort, and with attention to the smallest aesthetic and functional details. The personal touch of the owners in the care of the furnishings, in the renovation and in the taste profuse in every aspect of the house, is evident in each room of this elegant property. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen with a table for 6/8 people furnished with precious details and an English-style living area with elegant finishes. On the ground floor there is also a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a sixth service lavatory and a beautiful sauna, ideal for off-season stays. From here you have direct access to the pool. A travertine staircase leads to the second floor where you find the other bedrooms. Four stunning double bedrooms all en-suite, each with its own character and personality, with canopies and top quality linens, exquisite upholstery, complete this charming property. Some of them even have an open fireplace in the room.

The huge swimming pool is furnished with elegant sunbeds and relaxation areas, immersed in a perfectly maintained garden, where there are flowers and plants and an area complete with table and chairs for eating al fresco under a typical, very romantic pergola. This is the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing and a gourmet lunch in the nearby town of Orvieto.
